I honestly think "to each his own" so to speak. There is no way that you can write anything to satisfy 100% of the audience that may read it. Also, I think the F word is an obvious trigger word that may or may not offend someone, but also at the same time, it's something that as a writer, it may be a circumstance of overthinking it too much. What one finds offensive, another might not even consider as such. So, even if the "taboo" word is not included, they may be something else equally as offensive to someone that may not even be considered. I guess long story short, every writer has their own style and loyal following here on Medium. Every pot finds it's lid... 😂
